Patil says door for talks with ULFA, DHD(J) open

Union union home minister Shivraj Patil says the Centre is always open for talks with ULFA and DHD(J) along with all other terrorist outfit.

Addressing a press conference after he reviewed the region's security scenario, Mr Patil said on Tuesday that the date talks can always fixed  at a meeting with ULFA and blamed the outfit saying its lack of willing for talks.

On bing asked on the steps to rein in insurgency in the North Cachar hills the union home minister sais that the government will initiate talk with the warring rebel groups including the DHD (J) who have unleash reign of terror in NC hills.

On a question of joint operation on an outfit now in ceasefire with DHD(J), he said "I am not here to judge the government' adding that if  there are differences of opinion between the different groups the government will sort it out through talks"

He further hoped that the Nagaland government will be able to curb the violence activities  in that state and if the state government fails to do so the central government will take necessary action.
