Eight ANLA ultras arrested

Guwahati: Altogether eight militants of the Adivasi National Liberations Army (ANLA) were arrested in Sivsagar and Golaghat districts in Assam on Monday. These include the main culprit who was involved in the Rajat Agarwalla’s kidnapping case last month.

According to information, four militants were arrested when they went to extort money from a businessman at Bimalapur Tiniali under Charaideo sub-division on Monday.

The big catch is Ajit Toppo, the prime accused in the kidnapping of Rajat Agarwalla, a 13-year-old boy at Sonari. 

Golaghat police also apprehended four other militants from the same outfit on Monday wee hours. Police confirm that these militants were arrested from Sarupathar railway station
