Media Workshop on Sattriya Dances

A media workshop on 'How to Appreciate (and Report about) Sattriya Dances' has been organized at Guwahati Press Club on July 21 (Monday). The workshop, which is open for working journalists, will begin at 1 pm at the press club auditorium.
Dr Pradip Jyoti Mahanta and Krishnamurti Hazarika, both are recognized as the authorities on Sattriya dances will attend the workshop as resource persons.
Keeping an eye on the enhancing status (primarily after it was declared as a classical dance form of India) of Sattriya Dances and involvement of general people in larger number with it, the workshop has been designed, stated in a release from the press club.
Interested scribes are requested to contact the press club office for registering their names for the workshop.
