Harmony-A nite of Fusion & Dance
Abhinaya, an NGO working in the field of art and culture in North East India is organizing an evening of Fusion music and dance on 27th July, Sunday at Rabindra Bhawan, Guwahati from 6.30 pm onwards. Renowned and acclaimed artist Dipak Sharma, Rosy Brahma Boro - a renowned versatile and dynamic Hindustani Classical Singer, Bipul Das - a Kathak exponent, Anita Sharma - a renowned Sattriya and Odissi dancer and Shatrupa Chatterji - a well known Satriya and odissi dancer will perform on the occasion. Apart from the senior artists young upcoming talented artists such as Mainak Nandi with his M. Sonic band, Saugata Sarkar, Aarhi kaushik, Shrishti Brahma Boro, Meghranjini Medhi will be a part of the evening. The main features of the evening will be song items - an enchantic harmony of Indian Classical notes coupled with Western orchestration and instrumental jugalbandi, fusion dance items showcasing the amalgamation of Indian and Western Dance forms and orchestrated symphonies-a multi instrument orchestra defining the beauty of fusion music.
