The Seventh Nagaon  Book Fair will get underway at Nehrubali on December 22.The
Fair is organised by Kollol , a leading socio-cultural organisation of Nagaon ,
in association with Nagaon district administration.Several state level seminars
will be held during the 7-day carnival which will focus on the need of Books in
a civilized society.
The organisers said this correspondent that on December 22 at 9 in the morning
the flag will be hoisted by State Forest Minister Rokybull Hussain, who is also
in the chair of  president of Nagaon Book Fair ' 07.The Fair will be inaugurated
by the former President of Axom Sahitya Sabha Lakshminandan Borah.
Meanwhile, the organisers are seen busy in full swing for the carnival. A 
record number of book sellers and publishers in  and outside of the state have
confirmed their participation in the fair , the organisers added.
