Aspiring young singer from Namrup Palsah Jyoti Phukan has bagged away the coveted Voice of Axom a television singing reality show presented by NE TV the first private satellite channel of the North East. At a glittering function here at Nehru stadium he was declared winner and pocketed 2 bed room apartment, dvd home systems a ciation and a trophy. A the grand finale held here at Nehru Stadium Kunal Gunjawalla, Zubeen, Amit Paul and sensational Sonaber Kabir performed on the stage.

Palash Roy from Silchar with 11 lakhs cash got 1st runners up and Sudipto Chakraborty from Guwahati with a ikon car beame 2nd runners up. Two Judges special award were given to Swapna Pathak and Aahoron Bordoloi.
