Assam Kickboxing Association to felicitate Sportsman Spirit

Assam Kickboxing Association (AKA) will felicitate prominent and rising sports
and sports related personalities next month. Noted critic Dr. Hiren Gohain as
an advisor and Dr. Mamoni Raisom Goswami as the President  addressed the media
person on behalf of Assam Kickboxing Association (AKA) Felicitation Committee
at Guwahati Press Club today. Kailash Sharma, President of AKA invited criteria
of selection of nomination. Veteran kickboxer of the nation Bishwajeet Kakati
also spoke on the aspects of kickboxing. Notably it is the only sports that is
recognized as a part of syllabus in Assam Higher Secondary Education
Council(AHSEC) and Directorate of Sports. "The Spirit Wins; Not Muscles" is the
theme of AKA. Both Dr. Gohain and Goswami threw light on importance of
maintaining sound health by playing  games.
