										<description>Very compassionate and thought provoking article. But there is a questions that we need to pose as concerned citizens and humans and that is What should be the role of zoo&amp;#039;s? In India, the focus is more on entertaining people than to give these creatures a safe heaven. It is not guwahati, but even if you go down to capital Delhi, you will find the same environment. I think the change has to come to the thinking of people more than the government running for a clean up of their attitude drive.&lt;br /&gt;
Anyways, the article was worth reading.</description>

										<description>Your article is indeed thought provoking. But i disagree with the fact that animals are really suffering in captivity inspite of providing them ample comfront, but with the prevailing circumstances where we are losing animals everyday inspite of laws etc. Zoos play a very vital role in keeping the animals, breeding them and releasing them in the wild again. It would be better off for the animals to remain in captivity then completely losing the species in the wild. I  feel both in-situ and ex-situ conservation of any species should go hand in hand to ensure the species survival.</description>
