Yet another Rhino is being found dead without it's horn at Haladhibari, Kohora inside the World famous Kaziranga national park on 05-02-08 morning as the 12 year old Rhino was killed by unidentified poachers.

Again poaching has rocked the Kaziranga National Park on Monday night. The body of the rhino was spotted at the Bagori range on Tuesday morning. The poachers took away the horn after killing the rhino with 303 rifles. The incident took place hardly 24 hours after forest minister Rockybul Hussain suggested a slew of measures to stop poaching in the state’s sanctuaries. The park authority restricted the entry of media people who rushed to the sport when the message was spreading like wildfire. This is the fifth rhino to be poached this year itself. Twenty-one rhinos were poached in the park in 2007.
