Altogether niner people have been injured when a leopard attack the villagers in
Sibsagar district on Sunday. According to information, a leopard which is
supposed to have come down from the dense forest areas along the Assam Nagaland
border areas in Sivasagar distgrict's Deopani Misajan village attacked the
villagers in the evening when these people were coming to the field. Severaly
injured Quotobudding Ahmed and Mohboob Ali have been rushed to the Assam
Medical College Hospital in Dibrugarh. Others left injured people namely Abdul
Hakim, Bitu Ali, Bosob Ali, Dhiru Mirdha, Julukha Begum and Bhaity have been
admitted to the Sibsagar Civil Hospital. This is for the third time feline
terror strike the upper Assam district during the past two months.
