ULFA's 709 battalion cadres likely to pro-talk group

The pro-talk ULFA cadres have claimed that some of their colleagues in the 709th battalion will soon join their peace bid.
After a few successful peace rally in some upper Assam, these cadres are camping in lower Assam's Nalbari district and have been approaching several organisations seeking their help to carry forward their mission. On Wednesday, they hold talk with AJYCP leaders.
They informed that they are not aware of any diktat from ULFA central leadership not to proceed ahead with the deal. Notably, ULFA leadership in a recent mail have asked expelled ULFA top gun Jiten Dutta not to proceed with the peace deal to avoid action.
In yet another development, protalk ULFA heavyweights Jiten Duta, Jun Bhuyan and Prabal Neog hav arrived in Tezpur to call on ULFA's political adviser Bhim Kanta Buragohain, Amarjyoti Gogoi and Balin Das to seek thior support who have been languishing in the jail.
