Congress legislator Ardhendu Dey, who was allowed to sit in the place of Anjan Dutta on Wednesday said that he was a senior member and there was nothing wrong in the new arrangement.
Talking to reporters outside the House on Wednesday after Anjan Dutta’s walk out, the former cabinet minister said that his seat in the second row was given on a written request of the Parliamentary Affairs Minister.
He said, “I went to the Speaker and asked why this was done to me as I was a senior member and was a cabinet minister. Then the Speaker gave me the seat to be opposed by Dutta.
