Dhaka is waiting for early settlement of the land deal with New Delhi. This was what Bangladesh high commissioner in India Tariq A. Karim said in Guwahati. In his interaction at a FICCI function in the city on Wednesday, he said that said ratification of the India-Bangladesh Land Boundary Agreement is the only way to help both the countries solve the problem of illegal migration. He further said it would help India and Bangladesh boost bilateral ties. Karim said ratification of the land boundary agreement is in India’s own interest.
