AIUDF is all out to hard shell the party in the next assembly polls. Spurred by the Lok Sabha polls victory, the party is preparing a slew of strategies to steal the March in 2016 assembly polls.
Talking to reporters in Guwahati on Thursday, party president Badaruddin Ajmal said that the Congress is no longer a force in Assam to be reckoned with.
He said that the 2016 fight will confine to AIUDF and BJP and that Congress will have to remain off from the picture.
Notably, apart from securing more seats than AGP in the 2011 Assembly polls, AIUDF secured 3 seats in the recent Lok Sabha polls.
