Another arrest in Burdwan blast case

National Investigation Agency probing the Burdwan blast case has arrested yet another person from Assam on Saturday. NIA arrested Suburuddin Ali from Nalbari who happens to be a close relative of Sahanur Alam---one of the main accused in the incident during.

NIA team and police arrested Ali after conducting a search operation at his house at Boroliapar village on Saturday wee hours. Police further detained Ali’s two relatives for several hours. But the duo were released later on Saturday.

NIA further seized some Jehadi books along with a huge quantity of medicines from Ali’s possession which were kept beneath the ground. The operation was carried out acting on the confessional statement of Sujana Begum, who was arrested from the ISBT here on November 7.
