Cool down farmers

The Assam government will address the grievances of farmers to help them get a fair price of their produce.

Talking to Assam Times in Guwahati, department officials said the government is working on a slew of measures to ensure a profit for the farmers who often complain of being deprived of the due price.

Minister Rockybul Hussain on Thursday told mediapersons  that within the next 15 days the government will purchase the produce at the source and will sell the same in the capital city.
