The Central Bureau of Investigation grilled Anjan Dutta again on Friday in connection with Saradha scam. The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee was quizzed for several hours at the CGO Complex in Kolkata for the last two days.
The investigators have been trying to extract information on his alleged deal with Sudipto Sen who used his press to print two dailies in Guwahati.
Sources told Assam Times, CBI finds it quite difficult to ascertain Dutta’s real deal with the Saradha boss forcing them to quiz him again and again.
“Dutta is likely to be quizzed again if need be,” said sources adding that a former cabinet minister is also likely to be quizzed again very soon.
This was for the second time CBI questioned Dutta within 24 hours.
The Union Cabinet is meeting in New Delhi today where the sensational Nido Tania issue is expected to figure.
To be presided over by prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh, the meeting along with other issue is likely to discuss a new set of laws to deal with the cases of racial biasness in the capital.
The indication came up when a delegation of north east students called on Dr Singh in the capital yesterday demanding justice for the Arunachal Pradesh student who was killed by goons in south Delhi last week.
APCC president Anjan Dutta said that will make alliance with local nationalist organisations instead of BPF,BJP,AGP to defeat ruling BPF party in the BTC election scheduled by April next. Dutta while talking exclusively with Assam Times after arriving in Kokrajhar to participating jana jagaran rally tomorrow today said that his party is organsing a Jana Jagaran Rally tomorrow in Kokrajhar and through this rally party will get able to capture council on their ruled as because BPF has failed to fulfill all aspiration of the peoples in the region during their decade long reign.
Dutta said his party will put own candidates in all 40 constituencies and peoples are supporting the his party to meet good governance and fulfilmment of aspiration for meeting. He has said that his party talked with like minded local organisations including Aikhya Mancha,Independent Forum of Hitest Basumatary,Rabiram Narzary,AKRSU,Adivasi organisation and asked to support Congress and door of the Congress is open for alliance with organistaion during election and expected that organistaion will support party,Dutta added.
He told that no alliance with any parties,but talk is going on with local organisation besides BPF,AGP,BJP.He has assurred that good governance and concreate communcation among all sections of community and creation of healthy integration is the prime issue of the Congress to the council election.
A grand mass rally is being organised tomorrow at Dwimalu ground in Kokrajhar, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi,several leaders are participating the rally.
The Bodo Sahitya Sabha (BSS) slammed the Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi led Congress government at Dispur for not initiating any step to solve problem and issues of Bodo medium related demands raised from sabha during its third consecutive term in the government.
Kamala Kanta Mushahary, general secretary of the sabha, while attending aschief guest to address the open session of the 41st annual convention of the Kokrajhar district of the sabha today said that the Congress government in the state has been showing step motherly attitude to the Bodo medium education that is why Bodo medium issue and problems are still remained far from getting gained and welfare in its status.The sabha has been placed demand and issues to the government since 2001 year demanding solutions of various problems and issues which included creation of separate directorate for Bodo medium,appointment of teachers in Bodo medium schools, provincialisation of Bodo medium schools,yet no any ways to solve the demand and issues have been observed so far, Mushahary said.
'The state government has been tactically delayed to solve the demand and issues of the Bodo medium for negligence attitudes', Mushahary alleged.
The annual convention of the district sabha and 5th annual convention of Jharbari primary Bodo sahitya sabah was concluded at Jharbari ground in Kokrajhar on Saturday.
