Zubin triggers another controversy
Sensing yet another controversy heart throb Zubeen Garg wants one of his songs to be recognized as national anthem of the state.
During his performance at a bihu function in Pathsala on Saturday, the singer said that his hunere hojuwa poja khohi....should be the national anthem.
Reacting to Zublee Barua's faux pas Zubeen said that the singer had done no wrong.

Addressing a press conference in Bajali AJYCP leaders said that the singer's comment on the national anthem was funny and disguesting. AASU leaders also alleged that the heart throb has crossed the limits. Zubeen on Saturday said that his sonore hojuwa poja shoule be the national anthem in place of Bezbarua's o mur aaponar dex much to the disappointment of the organizers.
Disappointed over the style of performance on Saturday, the bihu organisers in Pathsala have decided not to invite Zubeen Garg in future. Addressing a pressmeet in Pathsala on Sunday, the organisers said that they are unhappy with the heart throb which does not look nice and decent. "Really his performace belittled our function. It is unfortunate and unexpected," an organizer told Assam Times.

Police on Sunday recovered 10 bombs in Baska district hours after Nur Jamal Hoque confessed during interrogation. Acting on the custodial revelations of the Jamat-ul-Mujahideen, security personnel launched a search operation at Panpara area near Salbari in the district and recovered the bombs..According to police, JMB had stored at least 100 IED in different lower Assam areas.
