Assam Governor P B Acharjya visited Bathow Thansali at Baganshali in Kokrajhar and offered floral prayer to almighty Bathow Shibrai today in his maiden BTAD visit scheduled.
Acharjya has appreciated the mission of Bathow tradition among indigenous peoples said that this is a sacred place.This kinds of plcae will bring pecae and unity among society.
“I think ,the Bathow will extend help in building of integration and social development.The peoples be inspired by Bathow religion and people should not forget all thse kinds of tradition through which Bodos has a healthy tradition of culture and arts in their living”,Acharjya said.
Saradha Prasad Machahary,Bathow Organiser of Bathow Thansali told that the step from Governor was a fortunate for Bathow tradition in today’s life as no one Governor from state of outside governor visited this Thansali.He termed that stepped from Governor Acharjya was enough lucky and fortunate in the history Bathow.
The Bathow organisers felicitated the Governor with traditional Aronai nad wel come with melody Kham,Shifung and Jotha along with Bagurumba Dances at the Thansali complex.
