Amid an escalating protest over Pengeri killings, the United Libration Front of Asom has threatens the Hindi-speaking people of dire consequences if they refuse to halt the tirade against them.
Talking to a section of media over telephone on Thursday, ULFA supremo Paresh Baruah said that they won’t tolerate any protest against ULFA since they have no specific evidence in the Bijuliban incident where gunmen killed a local trader and his daughter two days back.
“If they refuse to halt they will have to face the consequences and ULFA will not allow Tinsukia or Assam to become a mini Bihar or a mini Rajasthan.
Notably, local residents in Tinsukia on Wednesday hit the streets in protest against the trader killing. A section of the protestors further threw open challenge against ULFA.
