The Gauhati High Court is expected to hear Akhil Gogoi’s public interest litigation on Monday seeking its intervention in the selection of candidates for ACS, APS and allied services.
With evidence, the KMSS leader has been alleging gross corruption in the selection of the candidates by the Assam Public Service Commission where eligible candidates have been deprieved.
Despite repeated demands, the government probe failed to convince Gogoi. He moved the governor seeking the exit of the chairman Rakesh Paul. But of no avail. Then he moved the high court which will hear the PIL on Monday.
The court has already received affidavits from APSC and government.
