Chief minister Tarun Gogoi is leaving for New Delhi on Monday a day after Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma unofficially joined BJP in New Delhi.
Gogoi, who is on an official visit to the capital citing his participation in the Niti Aayog meeting on Monday, is scheduled to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi to apprise her of the prevailing political situation following Dr Sarma’s entry into BJP.
