Exit not to hurt Cong: Gogoi

Chief minister Tarun Gogoi called Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma an able political leader 24 hours after his former man Friday unofficially joined BJP.

Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Monday, Gogoi said that he did many thing at the initiative of Dr Sarma whom he gave good chances.

“Yes, I wanted him in Congress. His exit won’t put Congress in dire straights,” he said.
