Pasighat a smartcity!

East Siang DC Isha Khosla asked DDF consultants to prepare action plans to be developed Pasighat into smart city having core infrastructure needed to enhance urban living. She said when she was chairing a consultative body meeting of DDF Consultants in Pasighat Municipal Council and Head of Offices in the Siang on Saturday.

Twenty cities will be selected in the first lot through competition to be developed as Smart Cities. The consultants have conducted field visits this morning with the PMC Chief Councilor Denong Tamuk and his associates. She asked the executives of DDF Consultants (New Delhi) to take up the Smart City project with their best knowledge and abilities. The DC has appealed them to review the previous plans and interventions undertaken so far by the administration. The place has tremendous scopes in tourism, power generation, education and health sectors. 

Loksabha MP Ninong Ering, Director, TP &ULB Amoy Morang, MEO Deepak Shinde, ZPC Kaling Dai, PMC Chief Councilor Denong Tamuk and his deputy Kaling Darang and HoOs were present on the occasion.
