Butterfly lovers across the north eastern region are waiting for October 25. The spotlight is set to fall on Bornadi wildlife sanctuary in Udalguri district. Far from the madding crowd, the beautiful spot is preparing for butterfly meet where the experts will discuss the measures for butterfly conservation.
Experts from other states are also expected to participate in the second butterfly meet in the region.
Jointly organized by Butterflies of Northeast India Group, BAMOS, Ngunu Ziro and Aaranyak and WWF-India, the four day event will begin with focus on presentations by various resource persons. The participants will visit the Khalingduar-Bornadi area as part of the field study in the next three days.
