IIE to offer consultancy to entrepreneurs

Union Minister Rajib Pratap Rudy inaugurated the “Udyami Mitra Cell”, a skill-job exchange centre at Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati on February 3. The cell will provide support and consultancy services to existing and upcoming entrepreneurs of the North East Region. The UMC has been positioned to target the first generation entrepreneurs who seeks information regarding business ventures opportunities, market intelligence, technical & financial expects sources of machinery & raw material etc. The Skill-Job-Exchange Centre is set up to develop a platform for skilled job seekers and Job providers. 

In the Interaction Meet held at IIE auditorium, the Rudy interacted with trainees and students and appreciated the effort made by IIE in promoting entrepreneurship among the youths of the entire North East Region.  

Rudy also laid the foundation stone of an ‘Incubator on Wood Works’ (An ASPIRE Project).
