A video compact disk tiled Tomake Napale Jaan Oi comprising new Assamese songs by popular singer Debojit Saha was released on Sunday at Guwahati Press Club. Legendary singer Sudakshina Sarma, national award winning filmmaker Manju Bora, academician Usharanjan Bhattacharya, writer Dilip Bora, journalists Nava Thakuria and Gautam Sarma graced the occasion and appreciated the SaReGaMaPa Challenge 2005 winner for coming out with the CD on the even of Rongali Bihu. Produced by DS production, the CD has its music by Tarun Tanmoy and choreograph by Uday Shankar where the cast include Debojit and Pallavi. All the speakers termed Debojit as a cultural link between the Brahmaputra and the Barak valley of Assam, where few expressed hope that Debojit would try to sing some of the classic Assamese songs in Bengali as well.
