Chandan Brahma files nomination
Sitting MLA and BPF candidate for 31-Sidli constituency filed nomination paper to the Returning Officer and with his nomination three more candidates have also filed nominations on the last day today at Kajalgaon of Chirang district. Brahma, was accompanied by BTC deputy chief Kampa Borgoyary and senior party leaders in a huge procession to DC office from Kajalgaon Rural stadium.
After filling the nomination, Brahma said that he has been winning for third consecutive term as irrespective of organisation and communities are supporting his candidature in the constituency.He said atht BPF was working for all round development and welfare of the citizens in the region.
Earlier,an election rally was held at Kajalgaon Rural stadium in Chirang district where huge supporter and party leaders thronged.
BPF president and BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary addressed the well attended gathering said that his party is contesting in 13 constituencies in the assembly election.He claimed that contestant candidates are winning in all contesting seats,no doubt as common citizen and voters are favouring to the party candidates,Mohilary added.
Former minister and BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma, BPF Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary were also addresed and urged the voters to BPF for meeting haelthy development in the region.
On the last day of filling of nomination, three more candidates have also filed their nomination papers for Sidli LAC, included Pankaj Islary AIUDF, Phalmarston Brahma (Independent) and Tapan Chandra Rabha (Independent).
