Three NDFB-S in Kokrajhar
One cadre and two linkmen (over ground worker) of NDFB-S were apprehended in a joint operation of security forces from Titaguri area in Kokrajhar district on Thursday.
The security forces belonging to police and army launched a joint operation against militant outfit cadres in the region and today apprehended a cadre and two linkmen of the NDFB-S militant organistaion. They were identified as Kwmta Basumatary alias Godavir (20) of South Bhomraguri, Serfangguri and Kwrwmdao Narzary(19) of Shyamgaon and Surju Basumatary (19) of Bhumka, Bishmuri of Kokrajhar district.
Two pistols, a hand grenade, three live ammunition, two wallets,two mobile handset,two blank extortion letter pads, cash 3500 were recovered from them. They were involved with extortion, kidnapping, recruiting new cadres,carrying other subversive activities and providing information about movement of security forces.
