Three arrested rape cases in Kokrajhar
Kokrajhar police arrested three persons including a 20-years-old girl for involving sexuality cases from Shami Hotel and Lodge in Kokrajhar town on Friday. According to police, a girl and two men apprehended late night from Shami Hotel and Lodge after getting information about illegally sexuality incident inside hotel. The Hotel owned by BTC MCLA Abdul Ali Mondal along the JD Road Thanapara in Kokrajhar.
A 20-years-old girl was forcefully raped by two persons at the hotel, who hailed from Nayekgaon area of Kokrajhar late last night. She said they met me yesterday evening by 4 pm at Kokrajhar railway station and asked to come at hotel. They also threaten me to kill if she shout and cry in the hotel, besides they tied my mouth with cloth and repeatedly raped in the hotel, victim girl said.
The accused persons were identified as Saher Ali of Joypur of Kokrajhar district and Sahrab Ali, hailed from Dhubri district and confessed their involved with incident late last night in the hotel.
‘We arrested girl and two persons from hotel in Kokrajhar late last night and investigation is on into incident, of which detailed would be come out after investigation’, said a senior police officer.
Citizen and NGO activists condemned the incident and demanded stern action against hotel, which has given space to act such anti social activities in the town.

The arrested persons were identified as Hasanur Rahman, Mithun Miya of Mankachar and Mukesh Kumar of Bihar.
The smuggled Ganja was bound for Bihar from Agartala in a Scorpio vehicle, bearing registration no.BR 11V-7551.
BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary was granted bail on Saturday and released against case CR 34/2020, accused of section 120-B/500 IPC from CJM court in Kokrajhar.
