At least 300 air passengers had a narrow escape when two flights carrying them avoided a mid air collision in near Guwahati on Wednesday.
The incident took place in the morning when an Indigo flight from Mumbai was waiting to land at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport. Another flight of the same airlines appeared on the scene minutes after it took off for Chennai.
According to information, it took place because of the wrong signal set out from the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport. The air passengers got to know their impending danger and caught in chaos. Finally, the mid air collision was avoided but as many as 15 people sustained injury as they tried to escape the danger.
