In yet another high voltage drama that changes the state’s political landscape in Arunachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Pema Khandu and the Congress legislators, mostly, have joined People's Party of Arunachal on Thursday.
Except Nabam Tuki who helped Khandu become the new Chief Minister remained in the ruling party a month after Kalikho Pul commite suicide.
The development took place just two months after the Supreme Court restored Tuki as Chief Minister in the Congress government. The north eastern state has 60 assembly seats and Congress had 47 MLAs while BJP has 11 with two independents.
