The Sahitya Akademy on Wednesday announced its awards to three promising poets in Assam for 2016. In Assamese, the award goes to Gyan Pujari whose Meghmslar Kobita has stolen the march. The country’s top literary organization has named Anjali Narzary for her poetry in Bodo. Gita Upadhyay has been announced as the recipient of the award in Nepali language.
