NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has directed the Assam government to provide the audio-visual tape details of the speech of Subudh Biswas which struck huge controversy in the public meeting.
Hearing a bail petition on Thursday, a division bench of L Nageswar Rao and Justice SA Bodbe sought the details from the Assam government by November 20 when the court will hear the bail plea.
Subash Biswas' council told thr court that even after his arrest the people who have been probing the case have yet to file the charge sheet against him and he is still languish in jail.

He was arrested alleging in inflamatory speech before a section participants clashed with the local AASU activists and vandalised the AASU office at Silapithar.
