Bhutan women defeat KDSA XI

Bhutan XI won the women's football exhibition defeating Kokrajhar district sports association (KDSA) XI by 2-0 goals being held at KDSA stadium ground on Tuesday in Kokrajhar. 

The women's football exhibition has been organised in connection with the attraction for the ongoing Bodoland martyrs gold cup football championship in Kokrajhar. 

BTC deputy chief Kampa Borgoyary kicked off the match and extended best of luck for both team. 

A 30 members team of Bhutan including team manager, coach, official participated teh match led by Ugen Rabten, secretary of Indo-Bhutan Friendship Association (BIFA).

In the match, Bhutan XI Beat KDSA XI by 2-0 goals. The match has been created amusement among football lover spectators as neighbouring country's women footballers showcased beautiful football game magic. 

Among others, BTC executive member Doneswar Goyary, senior football organisers were attended on the occasion. 

Meanwhile, GB FC,Zaraguri will take on NFR, Maligaon in the final match of the Bodoland martyrs golf cup football championship on Wednesday.

BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary is attending as chief guest in the final match. 

Winner would be awarded trophy and cash one lakh while runners up would be given away trophy and cash gigit thousand. 

On the final match, golf medalist Boxer Ankushita Boro will be accorded warm welcome and felicitated by BTC administration anda sports organisers.

KOKRAHAR: A sense of alarm has gripped the Jharbari area after a timber smuggler was discovered dead in a firing incident during the early hours of the morning in Kokrajhar.
