KOHIMA: The Election Commission is fully satisfied with the preparations for the February 27 assembly pills in Nagaland.
The commission pined hopes on a free and fair poll when the full bench of the country's poll panel wrapped up its stock taking visit to Kohima on Wednesday.
Led by CEC OP Rawat, the bench which already visited Tripura is assessing the poll preparations in Nagaland on Wednesday. The trio talked to the top officials in the Nagaland capital city of Kohima who have been attached with the poll duties. Further, the poll panel delegation is meeting the representatives of the major political parties. Rawat and his team is visiting Shillong on Thursday where they would be meeting the poll officials and political party leaders. Both the north eastern states are going to the assembly polls on February 27.
