A 13 member business delegation of Czech Republic will visit Northeast from Sunday. The delegation led by Dr Hynek Kmonicek, the Ambassador of Czech Republic in India will pay visits to Guwahati, Shillong, Itanagar and Gangtok. The delegation will comprise of 4 companies of Aviation Sector, 3 companies of Small hydro Power sector and one from Small Brewery.
The nine day visit will commence on 19th October. The NEDFi is coordinating the visit of the delegation and have arranged for open interaction with the local entrepreneurs in Shillong (21st Oct), Guwahati (22nd Oct), Itanagar (23 rd Oct) and Gangtok (25th Oct), stated in a press release from the financial institution.
"Apart from those, arrangement of separate meetings with the respective State Governments have also been made. Entrepreneurs and businessmen looking for new avenues and technology may contact the local NEDFi offices of the respective Northeastern States for facilitating with the visiting Czech delegates," added in the release.
It also said that Trascon, Eldis, Morvan Avition and UL-JIH are the four leading companies of Czech Republic which can provide solutions of air connectivity to the hilly terrains of Northeast. They not only manufacture small aircraft but also provide unique portable airports and heliports. The hydro Power Companies viz. CINK Hydro-Energy, CKD Blansko Engineering & Strojirny Brno are interested to provide technology for the Small Hydro Power Projects.
The Czech Technology in Small Hydro Power is known for its quality and NEDFi is interested for the promotion of small hydro power projects which do not affect ecology and environment but provide solutions to the localized interior villages having a potential hydro-power source around it.
Small Brewery is another area which can be set-up in the tourist resorts and hotels its unique brand identity to the visiting tourists. ZVU Potez of Czech Republic will thus be accompanying the delegation to popularize its small brewery technology.
