Indefinite strike affects classes in Bodoland University
Kokrajhar: Official work as well classes are affected in the Bodoland University due to indefinite strike called byf Bodoland Students Union of Bodoland University. Protestor are demanding appointment of new VC in the University.
The BSU is a student's wing of ruling BPF party. The student body said that their strike will continue until their verious demands including appointment of a new VC, filling of various posts in the university fulfilled.

Apurna Narzary, an international women's football player, has been nominated for the Emerging Player award for 2022-23 by the Sports & Youth Welfare department of the government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Narzary has represented India in several international events and is the daughter of Biswajit Narzary of Khagrabari village in Kokrajhar district. The award will be presented to her during the Baokhungri festival celebration at Baokhungri Hill site near Harinaguri in Kokrajhar.
