Three persons of a family murdered in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar:  Sensation prevailed along the Mukhigaon area in Kokrajhar district after three member of a family was murdered by unidentified miscreants late night at Mukhigaon village. Police has started investigation into murder case. However, no one was made arrested so far.

According to local people,unidentified miscreants murdered Tipul Roy,his wife Marami Roy and his three-year-old daughter Anjumani Roy at his Mukhigaon residence with sharp weapons late night.

A six-year-old another daughter,however, was safe from the incident and nearby peoples rescued the minor girl from the house.

The incident took place late night at Mukhigaon under Fakiragram police station in Kokrajhar district which has created sensation and shocked among the common masses that led condemnation from all corners of the society.

Tipul Roy, is a daily wage earner villager in the locality and leading a healthy life at the Mukhigaon village.

Hailed from Kokrajhar Bhotgaon, Roy used to live at Mukhigaon after marrying Marami Roy since few eight years.He was a peace loving person and had two minor daughters.

Nearby family member of the Tipul Roy,Somen Oraon's wife,first noticed the two bodies of Marami and her daughter in front of their house entry gate lying on the ground with bloody about 5.30am and immediately informed about the incident.Soon after noticed the scene,Somen intimate to the family members of the Marami Roy by the early morning and family members rushed the house of Marami Roy,found three bodies were murdered with sharp weapons.

Tipul's body was found inside his room.

The miscreants,first digged the Kaccha wall of the house and entered the house and attacked the Tipul Roy at bed in the chilly night which made died on the spot.

His wife tried to Rani way taking her minor daughter,but miscreants attacked her with sharp weapons that led to die along with daughter in front of the gate of the house,said a local villager.
Bodies of the deceased have been sent for Kokrajhar for postmortem.

Just after spreading news about murder case, peoples from various corners from the locality thronged at the spot to take stock about incident and condemned the incident and termed that it was inhumanity act on humanity.

Citizens have demanded strict a high level judicial investigation into incident to identify the miscreants and punished the involved culprits with strict law.

A high level police team from Kokrajhar and Fakiragram rushed the spot in the early morning to take stock about incident.Police started its investigation into murder case and used snipper dog to trace out miscreants activities perpetrated during the attacked and murdered three members of a family.

Police collected necessary inputs about murder case and shared information gathering with local peoples during their investigation.However,no one was made arrest so far.

Police expressed its hopeful that involved culprits will be booked soon through a strict investigation and necessary initiatives are being initiated into incident.

Police also expressed its smelled of personal grudges in his life or property zealous in the village.

"It was a pre-planned murdered case as three year minor was not spared from the miscreant attacked.Necessary action is initiating against the incident",said a senior police officer in Kokrajhar.

Amid a strict security vigil, arrested Gujrat Congress MLA Jignesh Mevani was brought to Kokrajhar police station and later produced before the chief judicial magistrate (CJM) court. KOKRAJHAR: A Ganja smuggler was shot at by police in the Bishmuri area of Kokrajhar district late Wednesday night. The incident happened  in Kokrajhar in Bishmuri. KOKRAJHAR: The police nabbed three people with 91 Kgs of Ganja on Karigaon national highway in Kokrajhar on Wednesday.. The arrested persons were identified as Hasanur Rahman, Mithun Miya of Mankachar and Mukesh Kumar of Bihar. BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary was granted bail on Saturday and released against case CR 34/2020, accused of section 120-B/500 IPC from CJM court in Kokrajhar. Pramod Boro, the president of the United People’s Party of Luwahati, filed a complaint against  Mohilary, the former chief of Bodoland Territorial Council, at the court of CJM Kokrajhar for making derogatory remarks about him in February 2020.
