Kokrajhar Govt College celebrates Diamond Jubilee

KOKRAJHAR: The Diamond Jubilee celebration of Kokrajhar Govt College was concluded on Sunday with a week long programme held at the college complex.

The diamond jubilee was celebrated with colourful programmes to mark its glorious 60 years of educational services in the region.

The Kokrajhar Govt College was established in 1959 to render educational services amongst the citizens of the lower Assam region.

A cultural procession was carried out where students from different departments of the college participated. The rally was started from College complex traversed to RNB Road, JD Road, flyover and concluded at the same point.

In the rally, students shouted anti-CAA slogans and created awareness about the law and urged upon the state government to rethink and withdra the law for the greater interest of the state.
