An audio CD titled 'Ei Jibon Nohoi Xuna Bondhu' was released by veteran singer, Sudakshina Sarma, in Guwahati on 5th February 2010. The music album has songs by nationally-reputed singers such as Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurti, Pulak Banerjee, Debojit Saha and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil' Champs contestant Antara Nandy. Popular actor, Pranjal Saikia, is also a part of the album. The songs are written by Dr. Amal Saikia with music by Pratul Bora and Gupta Borthakur. Each song is theme-based and they highlight several issues which are relevant in modern-day India. Guwahati: Altogether 12 people died and 7 others injured when two locomotives and seven loaded wagons of the Bardarpur-bound Dn FCI Bhim goods train fell off bridge No. 108, 52 km from Lumding on Monday morning.According to Northeast Frontier Railway officials, the loco pilot (driver) of the ill-fated train, Deepak Sen, and six trackmen working at the site died on the spot, while six others died on the way to the hospital.Seven others, including MK Rajak, the assistant loco pilot, were injured.
