Women hangs, kills her son near Rangiya
Two bodies of a mother with her minor son near at ASEB power house quarter complex at Chirakhundi on Thursday. Tragic death of both mother and her minor son had created mixed reaction about the level of security relating life and death. Sabita Kalita, the mother, was found hanged and her minor son Himangshu Kalita (Dhan) found dead at their residence at the ASEB quarter here. The family amidst financial constrain was leading their lives in a hardship, the husband of the deceased who is a security guard of ASEB as per reports. While deceased Sabita was the second wife of her husband, reportedly had killed her son and then hanged herself.

A rickshaw puller named Ravi Thakur was brutally killed here at Rangiya Tiniali at around 8 last night . Thakur, a rickshaw puller by profession was residing here at Tiniali at his own land, was suspected to have been killed due to land related issue. Police today has sent the body for autopsy to GMCH. Police suspect involvement of a driver in this connection who is absconding after the incident occurred till now. Already a case was registered by Rangiya Police and few persons were held for interrogation.
