Photography exhibition at Pune

A Way with Frames - photography exhibition by Arpan Kalita is going on at Pune Grubshup Restaurant. One can experience the Serene and splendor of North East India through his Magnificent Captures. The Exhibition started on 1st September and will be held till 10th September. Arpan Kalita, a Pune Graduate, hails from Guwahati, Assam. He came all the way to Pune for his 1st Solo Exhibition.

Kalita used to click photographs with his dad and uncles analogue SLR camera. Photography then was a very expensive affair. He used to observe photographs on the internet. Nature somehow always inspired him, and being a designer and painter, propelled him to observe things more keenly, mostly those tiny bits which usually go unnoticed. Slowly on due course of time, the inclination towards nature photography and travelling increased. He travelled almost every nook and corner of North - East with his knapsack and Camera tied to his neck goes on capturing the lives of nature.

When asked, why he gave the first choice as Pune for his exhibition, Arpan responded: "the exhibition is my first Solo Exhibition of Photographs. A photographic journey to some places of the North East India and an effort on my part to depict the beauty of the Region. This exhibition is a humble effort to pay a tribute to the city of Pune, a city that owes a share in being me, city that has given me so much in terms of education and knowledge. Most important with the city is that it played a vital role in being me”.

The Exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Sanjay Nahar, Founder President, Sarhad.
