Who ignored party whip?

Four BJP legislators have written to state party president Sarbananda Sonowal clearing their position over the voting controversy in the recent Rajya Sabha polls.

Ranjit Das, Manoranjan Das, Dilip Moran and Jadav Deka have apprised Sonowal of how they toed on the party line.

They said that they got their ballot papers verified by the party agent Prasanta Phukan before dropping the papers into the boxes.

Only the party agent Phukan dropped his ballot papers into the boxes without proper verification.
