Change in Gandhi visit schedule

Rahul Gandhi has made some changes in his visit to Assam slated for Tuesday.

The AICC vice president is scheduled to land at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at 10-30 in the morning on Tuesday.

After a brief halt, Gandhi will leave for Diphu where he is all set to attend a programme. The top Congress leader is expected to be back in Guwahati at 12.30 in the afternoon.

Then he is scheduled to address the rally on youth and women empowerment at Veterinary College Playground.

At 3 in the afternoon, Gandhi will interact with intellectuals and prominent citizens at Sarusajai Indoor Stadium. This would be followed by his interaction with media.

Gandhi is scheduled to attend the APCC executive meeting at 5-30 in the afternoon at the Rajiv Bhawan.

On Wednesday, he would attend a programme at the Donbosco University at Azara at the outskirt of the city before leaving for Nagaon at 11 in the morning. In Tezpur, he would participate at a road show at 2 in the afternoon.

Then he would leave for Jorhat at 3 in the afternoon to interact some women Congress members before leaving back to New Delhi at 4-30 in the evening.
