Confusion over Pranab Boro

The identity of the KMSS activist who died after self immolation attempt in Dispur on Monday mires in mystery and confusion.

Till Tuesday, he was identified as Pramode Boro, a resident of Gorchuk and his wife claimed to have two daughters.

But the scene has changed dramatically. A family of Bhuragaon in Udalguri district claims that the person in the storm of shock is Tuwaram Sarania who has been missing since 2009.

They identified the lifeless KMSS activist on looking at the passport size photograph beamed in the various satellite news channels.
