Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said that Assam has progressed on all fronts during the last 13 years.

Addressing a huge rally in Khanapara on Monday, Gandhi gave the credit to Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi. “I think Gogoi is a perennial source of inspiration for the party,” he said in his address.

He criticized AGP government saying that the regional party government has done precious little for the people. Unlike other politicians, Gandhi said that the leaders do not change a country and that it’s the people that change the face of a country.
