Prizemoney Bihuwoti Competition in Gurgaon

On the occasion of 'Rongali Bihu 2014' organised by Assam Association, Gurgaon, on April 13, 2014 (Sunday), a Rs.30,000/- Prizemoney Bihuwoti Competition shall be held. Please contact President, Assam Association Gurgaon (Cell No.9910378040). The rules of the competition are as below:

 

1. The Bihuwoti Competition shall be held on 13th April, 2014 at DLF Phase-I Community Centre from 2PM to 3PM sharp. Competitor much reach the venue i.e. DLF Phase-I Community Centre, DLF Phase-I, Gurgaon positively by 1:30 PM sharp on 13th April (Sunday).

2. The first two winners may have to participate in the main cultural evening to be held from 6:30PM on the same day at the same venue.

3. No joining fee for participation.

4. Participant shall be more than 15years of age and Marital status is no bar for participation.

5. Each participant shall dance Bihu on a Bihu track recorded in an Audio CD of about 5 minute duration. The soundtrack shall be original and no doctoring of the original track is permitted. Participants are advised to bring one back-up copy of the song in a pen drive, if possible. Participants MUST MENTION THEIR NAME & TRACK NUMBER (in case the CD contains more than 1 song)  

6. To provide equal opportunities to all participants, no participant will be allowed to dance with any accompanying Bihu team, otherwise the participant shall be disqualified

7. Judges decision shall be final & binding on the participants.

8. The order of performance will be decided by a lottery done on the spot before the competition starts. The names of the participants would be announced one-by-one as per the performance order secured by each participant in the lottery.

9. Only 10 participants will be allowed on 'First-come-first serve' basis.

10. The participants will wear ethnic Assamese Bihu dress.

11. Transportation on sharing basis will be arranged by AAG. But participant will have the option to use own transportation.

12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Organising Committee shall be final.
