Risisng Club, Barpeta has been organising "Holi geet Competition" in the open street for both men and women on February 27. The first best group will be given Rs. 4001/-, second best group Rs. 2501/- and third best group will be given Rs. 1501/- in both sections. Besides the best persons in Dholak, Cymbals, and singers (pathak-pathakani) will also be awarded with cash and certificates. On the other hand, per participant's group will be awarded Rs 300/- for their inspiration.
