Subba to contest independently

Former MP Manikumar Subba will contest the Lok Sabha from Tezpur in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. But this time he will be an independent candidate.

He decided to contest independently after the party picked up Bhupen Bora from this crucial seat.

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi told reporters in New Delhi on Saturday that Subba as independent candidate will have hardly any impact in Tezpur.
